Buying a Plaid upgrading from a P100D Thoughts?

Yeah, I am going to stick with 19"s. A buddy of mine has 21's and he almost needs a second job just for tires.

Buying a Plaid upgrading from a P100D Thoughts?

I started with a P85D, did the upgrade on the fuse, then went to a P100D and now I am going to get a plaid. I took one home for the night but really did not get to drive it; it had the yolk (not a fan) I could not take her out because I was just too busy. What are your thoughts on the...

    P100D owner thing of Plaid

To clarify, my P100D is a very late 2018, I took delivery around Christmas in the US. I have around 300 miles of range now but to be honest I have used super chargers like 10 times. I just don't drive long range unless I am hunting and then I take my Tundra. My T has the sunroof, premium...

    P100D owner thing of Plaid

Hi, I am not a frequent poster. My fist Telsa was a P85D, I traded it in for a P100D and I have been happy. Now the Plaid is out and it is actually cheaper than my P100D. I am the Tesla owner that goes through a set of tires every 9 months. I actually use it. I live in the country with a...

Newest update - problems with Gen 1 HPWC

Good suggestions. Thank you. I set the car to 20A for charging, tried it with the 40A RV (works like a champ @20A) however with the HPWC (240V) it still fails to red. So I think it is not the dual charging on the car, Tesla service says the car is fine.

Newest update - problems with Gen 1 HPWC

It will not - charge - the answer to that is It goes full red from my HPWC. Now usually it does a dance of colors and ends up blinking green. So coming from the wall at 12A the dance occurs and charging starts. Fine - then luckily I put in a 50A outlet in for an RV. Fine it charges at 40A...

Newest update - problems with Gen 1 HPWC

The newest software update for me, 2020.48.37.6 took my 100A HPWC to the point the car won't charge. I have a P100D, but because I use to have a P85D, I had installed a gen1 HPWC. Now I know things got dumbed down, drawing 80A made the handle so hot at times you would get burned, so a...

    2018.2 0eddd23 detected

I got the update a few weeks ago, I have been a serial complainer about the autosensing wipers. I had a P85D with AP1 and when I traded it in for the P100D, I was not very happy about the auto wipers not working. I live in Western Oregon so we kind of use that feature.

How can I tell if a CPO has AP1 or AP2

AP2 has side video cameras in the bolster between the front and rear doors, and in the little diamond on the front fenders. AP1 the little diamond is flush. Also the new style front bumper.

Let Tesla know what features or tech the Roadster should have to make it even more awesome?

I would like to see some thoughtful integration of a Lidar jammer, radar detector and cameras, or at least the wiring infrastructure.

    Roadster reservations

My own question answered -> Founders Series RoadsterReservations require a $5,000 credit card payment, plus an additional wire transfer payment due in 10 days. Reservations are not final until the wire transfer payment is received.

    Total Solar Eclipse - Aug 21, 2017

The HPWC are at the Sunriver lodge and outside, no restrictions on use, e.g. you can use them if you are not staying. They have a restaurant and good hiking trails to bide your time. PlugShare
