Neither at the moment. I originally had an order last year for an M3 - but since they couldn't actually produce the car after 3 months (don't ask me why) - I'm cooling the heels - wanting to see other EV options - and to see what the refreshed S is out of the gate.

And I agree with you -- Wall Street doesn't care about what I care about. Hey - I do hope the refresh is a home run. I'd love to see some reliability out of the gate - then might actually consider another S down the line. For now - remain skeptical.

Too bad that what Tesla is really good at is expanding the truth. Their timelines for the release of the refreshed S and X were an absolute joke, and continue to be the case. Elon claims autopilot had no role with the recent crash in Texas... lie. Elon signs contracts for solar roofs then...

OK - but if you were running your own business (and maybe you are) - I seriously doubt you'd plan on making your mortgage payments based on the stock market having a good quarter - or "hoping" your speculative investments go up in the next few months. If these guys haven't been able to scale...

Look - Musk can only make profit by buying / selling Bitcoin and selling emissions credits. If you take both out of the equation - it was another quarterly loss. Some day the peasants may get a clue.

That is so true. I still have my 2005 Lexus in addition to our Model S. It is as drum solid and reliable as ever. I still marvel when I take it on the road. Surely Tesla can get 1/2 way there ? That doesn't seem so difficult -

Kinda scary indeed. I remember when Lexus / Honda / Toyota started building their plants in the USA - but most of us wanted to make sure we were getting one of the "Made in Japan" vehicles if at all possible. Maybe Berlin or Texas will get their acts together -
