    Clearance under front valance

Why analog solutions when you have radar that shows on your screen how far away from an object your car is?

Car Colorizer Allows You to Customize The Looks of Your Tesla

    V11 quick controls toggle?

If you touch either the < or > temperature control (or press and hold the temperature?) the quick controls pane comes up. This update needs an update urgently. All this hunting for so many buried basic controls is profoundly unsafe when driving, and it's beyond absurd.

Flaky charge port door after latest upgrade?

Great to discover this post because I thought it was just me. I even set up a remote service appt., and they're still coming … unless a patch comes in the meantime.

Separate wheels or seasonal tire swap?

Definitely buy a set of 18" with winter tires. 18 because you certainly don't need low-profiles for snow/ice. OEM w/ Aero covers help a little with range.

    Sentry Mode stopped working (2021.4.12)

My Sentry mode failed me epically in a parking lot this week. When I came out of a store I was met with a significant dent on the crest of driver's door with lost paint, requiring body work. I have to pay the deductible and I'm really pissed off. 🤬 Evidently Tesla has messed something up if...

Chrome Add Thread for 2021 M3

Old guy here (58). Embrace the chrome… except the frunk emblem – cleaner without IMO. I like the black trim too though it looks better on certain colors that others, but am happy with with the classic blue + silver combo. Not sure I'd add more chrome embellishments, fine as is. Wheels are TSW...

    X-Ice XI3 on Model 3 AWD

I have a LR RWD with 18" X-Ice and couldn't be more confident driving in snow. I had trepidation of RWD in snow (even knowing the weight distribution is unlike anything in a RWD ICE car) because I live in a very hilly New England area. I will go out on a limb and say the RWD Model 3 performs in...

Full Self Driving: To Get It or Not to Get It?

Exactly this. It's a terrific car to actually drive, and the AP is enough for me on highways. I have no interest in Summon or my car being a "robo taxi".

Model 3 - Tips for dog owners

A back seat hammock is a must (one that prevents them stepping on the center console), and learn to live with some flying stray hairs (if you have a heavy shedder like me, you already live with it). And most importantly, try to ignore his nose paintings on the rear doors glass and wash only when...

    My "Ultra Blue" Model 3

One of the most "put together" Model 3s I've seen so far. This comes from a 57 YO guy who never did that heavy decorating *sugar*, but man, that's very well done.

    Expiring miles on June 30

I've never used a minute of my 1000 free miles and mine expire soon as well. I was surprised and a bit pissed that they even expire at all – I always thought it'd be practically limitless, like a gift card. They got to sell another vehicle but then they take away my perk?! Dirty. I was able to...

Embrace the chrome. Classic with blue IMO.

Firearm storage model 3 [and other firearms discussion]

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/BL2TuDLrzSA/maxresdefault.jpg Seriously (though I will always LOVE BB!), how about in the center console underside lid for your BUG? I bet my PM9 would easily fit. https://www.amazon.com/BASENOR-Console-Organizer-Armrest-Storage/dp/B07Z1XFLX7

EAP to FSD - bite the bullet now or risk it?

I would've liked FSD. Didn't want to part with more money. It doesn't stay with the buyer. I can't imagine regulation in my lifetime. I love actually driving my Model 3. So I'm completely fine without it, cool as it is.
