Day 1 of install of 14.28kW system with 4 Powerwalls

I live quite a distance away from those areas. Further down, in Fairfield County, there are more options than just Eversource. A simple Google search will tell you.

What is a normal dissipation of PW reserve?

So the 11% drop as of this morning for me isn't real? Seems sketchy to me.

What is a normal dissipation of PW reserve?

So does anyone have a concrete answer as to the expected loss from PWs over time?

What is a normal dissipation of PW reserve?

I'm in the same exact boat. I just changed to back up only at 100% and ill keep an eye on it and see if it makes a difference. My PWs are now at 89% down 2% from 24 hrs ago.

What is a normal dissipation of PW reserve?

Not really. We had that snow storm in the North East this week and I quickly changed the reserve to 100% just to force the PWs to hold their entire charge. I normally keep them at 70% but with the pending storm I bumped it up to 100%. We also had no outages which was shocking to me. So nothing...

What is a normal dissipation of PW reserve?

On Wednesday Dec 16th my 4 powerwalls went into Storm Watch mode and were filled up to 100%. Storm watch lasted into December 17th which ended around 1200 in the afternoon. I never lost power or drew anything from the PWs. As of right now December 19th my powerwalls are showing 90% reserve. I'm...

How to charge powerwalls from grid with solar

Here in CT we have that option. Its called Connected Solutions. Battery Storage Demand Response As for my storm watch I am in area under a Winter Weather Advisory and storm watch is not initiated. I should be able to charge my powerwalls on demand anyway I please. This is very frustrating and...

How to charge powerwalls from grid with solar

I'm in self-powered mode so the batteries are charged and used everyday. I also have storm watch initiated but it is not activated. It seems dumb and not ustomer friendly to not allow the customer to pick and choose when and how to charge the powerwalls.

How to charge powerwalls from grid with solar

Hello all. I've had my system up and running for almost 2 months now with no issues. Today in the north east, its snowing and my panels are covered in 3 inches of snow and aren't producing at all. My 4 powerwalls are at 4% and we are supposed to get high winds with the inevitable power loss. I'd...

Day 1 of install of 14.28kW system with 4 Powerwalls

So system install was complete 3 days ago and is running pretty well thus far. Panels are up and producing but are also quite dirty somehow so I will be cleaning them in the next few days. My 4 Powerwalls are also doing a good job and are running my entire house over night with plenty of left...

Day 1 of install of 14.28kW system with 4 Powerwalls

End of day 2; Powerwalls are up and running. Seems like they were shipped with about 22% in all four of. Tried the off grid test and that failed instantly. After about 1.5 of testing and calls it was determined that the Gateway 2 was the issue. It was discovered that during the mock up I was...

Day 1 of install of 14.28kW system with 4 Powerwalls

Just some random observations; My guys used a normal hand truck and not the fancy powerwall lift hand truck I have seen on other installs for the powerwalls I have 2 crews of electricians on sight who said they were alloted 44 hours each to install the powerwalls. Tesla dictates 11 hours per...
