Automated back up mode with python and rest

That would still be quite helpful for my purposes as it will allow me to store when energy is cheap and stay off the grid when it’s at peak pricing . I wonder if it’s possible to have the scripts run from a UnRAID server.

Automated back up mode with python and rest

Does your script allow it to charge from seller only, or is it able to charge from the grid?

Automated back up mode with python and rest

Great perspective...I think I can make this work well as it currently operates . Adding the other features would be a great bonus.

Automated back up mode with python and rest

Im installing a 11.3KW system from Tesla with 2 PW units next week. I dont expect my solar will cover my usage by any means as I use up to 18 kWh per hour in the summer months during peak times for up to 3-4 hours. My average hourly use is 8-10 kWh when I'm not charging my car or running my 4...

Lets assume the CT Clamp reading is +1kW (e.g. that the house is drawing +1kW from the grid). After flipping the reading the GW received -1kW...

Automated back up mode with python and rest

I'm set to get my system installed next week. I was hoping to use a script to allow the powerwall to charge from the grid (force storm mode....I think that what its called) and then discharge during high rate times for my personal use. Is this what this script permits?

Opinion: Tesla Truck needs a 250kWh pack if you want to tow.

Good luck pulling into a supercharger with your camper or boat in tow. I have yet to find a SC station that would fit any car towing a camper or boat to access the charging station. The charging cables are barely long enough as it is currently.

New Model X owner...Which Wall charger do I need

i just bought a 2016 Model X capable of the 72Amp charging. What setup do I need at home to take advantage of the high amp charging? I’m assuming I’ll need a 100 amp service installed. What Tesla wall charger do I need? Any have a recommendation of an electrician in the Dallas area for the...
