I just called back and afterfx revised their blackvue hardware only quote to $400 but still maintained that installation was 4 hrs x $150 = $600.

Hi Hank, I found your recommendation on google and called AfterFx this morning. Their surprising response inspired me to join this forum and ask you directly. They quoted me $800 (!) for the blackvue 2 channel dashcam PLUS $150/hr (estimated 4!) hrs work for a grand total of $1400 plus tax...
