I wish there is a "no regenerate" mode, and more, I want the regen to be available on the brake pedal, so it will drive like an ice car, but regenerate while decelerating.

Are you sure about this? It didn't work on my 2017 S, and the SC guy says I can't unlock with a completely dead battery. Maybe I shall test again.

I think it's super good to microscope Tesla accident like this, fatality or not. We look into these accidents and try to prevent them, that's how we improve. Larger fleet sure leads to more accident scenes, but that's not the reason we consider any accident is "normal" or just "driver's fault"...

I THINK that high mileage CPO does have issues. On the other hand, you can't complete give in your car to the overwhelmed SC; the better approach is to ask for the repair solution before you drop off your car, and avoid unnecessary repairs that may cause other issues.

To be clear, they are fast and accurate on obvious issues, like a lifting off panel; however on software aspect they seem know so little in my opinion.

I do have similar experience. Lack of communication, only fixes the most obvious issue, etc. They are however, very polite in the process. I think it's very typical. I have much lower expectation now.
