I doubt the stealth model will be offered again in Canada since doing so would cannibalize all sales of the boosted AWD. Selling the Stealth performance model never made much sense to me anyway. It’s certainly a good way to alienate your P3D+ customer base -$8k for performance brakes, rims...

Wonder if the P3D- will no longer be an off menu option given the recently announced $2700 performance boost upgrade option.

Not sure how significant the sales cannibalization would be given relative P3D+ sales volumes - How many P3D+ are sold versus the AWD? I would think most dual motor buyers would opt-in for a margin rich stealth upgrade

That was my understanding too; The motors in the dual motor and performance models are identical and it’s just software that ‘unlocks’ the power.

You got a Unicorn. Lucky you!! Yes the cars do exist in very limited quantities, however, you can’t order one and there are none in inventory at the moment. My Tesla SA has no idea when or if they will become available again.

What’s ridiculous is that you can’t get a straight answer out of Tesla. They are either committed to the P3D- or they aren’t. Just let us in Canada know.

I was told that the stealth performance is only available when it’s in stock and there hasn’t been any in over six months. The Tesla service advisor didn’t know if they would be getting any more. It’s a bit bizarre that a company representative doesn’t know this?! Tesla - be transparent...
