Did you have any problems? My drivers door failed and I can't get ahold of Tesla Offers.

Actually it is not that hard... Give yourself a few hours... the kit came with NO INSTRUCTIONS and the install video is missing a lot of steps. Still have not heard back from Tesla Offer to get a replacement for the left door actuator.

I finally have mine installed and actually if you slam the door they will work just fine. After the door closes it will actually pull in the door again to make sure it is closed all the way.

I have installed them in my 2020 Model 3 and they worked fine at first. The drivers door quit pulling in after a few uses. You can still close the door as normal but no soft close. I have had no luck in getting ahold of Tesla Offer to get a replacement part and there store shows not available now.

You really should not be misleading readers. Since the Destination Chargers are exactly the same units as the Wall Connectors sent to homes (there is absolutely no difference whatsoever - even same part number). The TeslaTap does not go against Tesla as it helps move more people towards...

There is quite a bit of mis-information going around. There are a few Tesla to J1772 adapters being sold and many are not compatible with Gen II Destination chargers. ALL TeslaTap's have a circuit in them that makes them compatible with all Tesla UMC, HPWC, Destination, AND Model 3 chargers...

What would be wrong if I just installed multiple HPWC's and supplied UMC-J1772 adapters to anyone that wants to use them on a non-Tesla cars. The HPWC stations would be purchased from Tesla and installed by our own electrician. I would hope that in the future all locations that have HPWC's...
