I have the same issue with my drivers door on my X. VIN 35XX. It's currently in the Dallas Service Center. I'll let you know how it comes back.

I have black on black with the figured ash wood. I absolutely love it. It's not too dark, and the figured ash is a nice contrast to the black. Would only consider changing for white seats if I didn't have a one year old.

I don't believe there is an official fix yet. Although, if my polarized sunglasses eliminated the issue temporarily for me, I would hope they could use that information to develop a fix.

I hope you get yours soon! Even with all the little issues (and the halo/glare), the car is amazing. The interior feels much more refined that my first gen X. I honestly believe you will love it. Although, I've read all your previous post about the communication issues you have experienced...
