Tesla Cybertruck Orders Hit 146K in Two Days

I'm thinking by 2022 they expect their battery pack modules / system to have higher capacity at lower cost. These vehicles will keep getting substantially better on their base technology and for all early adopters, the vehicles will start getting better in all areas that software alone can help...

    Cybertruck Poll

I think the Rivian looks beautiful and is clearly a luxury pickup but it is also much more expensive. The Cybertruck at the price they are offering is within my price bracket. I basically decided to get Cybertruck for six-seater over Model Y 7-seater option (2021).

    Cybertruck Poll

It can look weird at first glance, but that's the whole point. Trucks have not changed how they look for a long time so first reaction not being weird would have been the big fail for something being called a Cybertruck. Anyway, during the unveil event, I like it more and more and especially...

How long does a Powerwall support a home during a power outage?

I live in south of Fort Worth, TX. My full home has 48 Solar Panels and 2x Powerwalls supporting 4000 sq feet of living space across two floors. There are two central AC units with an open floor plan. We got our Solar System installed in February and got PTO (permission to operate) in March...

    Scent Wedge Thoughts ?

I felt like the car produced a smell (even though cabin is kept clean) anytime it has been parked out in the heat and then you come to it and it puts the AC (on auto) into rapid cooling mode. Saw Scent Wedge as a potential solution so decided to give it a try. Got the one called "The Summit"...

Updated iPhone X to iOS 13 now doesn’t work as key [Update: go to Settings > Privacy > Bluetooth]

Clearly a good thing. I'll proceed with the iOS 13 update and re-sync my phone to Tesla if I need to. Appreciate the information.

I'm amazed at what owners don't know

As an owner who does follow Tesla on Twitter and some YouTube channels that cover Tesla and this forum, I am kept fairly informed. Even so, the first time I took it to car wash and needed to put the car into Neutral, I had to specifically look that up as I had no idea. Also, if you go to kind...

Is Tesla trying to become the absolute worst service organization?

I crossed my 1 year anniversary as a Tesla Model 3 owner on 9/15/2019 I am very happy with my car (so far problem free) but I do dread the day I have to need service because I live in rural part of South Fort Worth and the nearest service center is near Lovefield Airport in North Dallas.

    V10 release notes

My Model 3 includes premium connectivity for life of car (was final configured before that benefit went away). If I were to get second Tesla, they all say 1 year premium connectivity included, but I know nothing of what will happen after that 1st year. Based on your comments, it seems Tesla...

    V10 release notes

There is improvement to AP if the car is now able to detect difference between different types of lanes markings and show that visually. They are moving towards Advance Summon releasing wide and also working towards Navigate on Autopilot to continue once off highway (needs traffic lights and...

    V10 release notes

Spotify has been a popular request for long time although I have warmed up to some of the included free Slacker radio channels. Their main problem to me is they don't have enough content within each "station" so you start getting loop back to song you already heard that drive pretty quick...

Nissan launches hands-off ProPilot 2.0 On-Ramp to Off-Ramp (Rivals Navigate on Autopilot)

Nissan entering the space soon, when Tesla has been at it for 3+ years already and has already driven over 1 billion miles is exactly that. There are autonomous Bus driving around in some European & Asian cities and autonomous trucks doing everything except last-mile driving on some routes in...

Free unlimited supercharging vs (paying for) installing charger at home...

I had couple of 220v 40amp circuits added to my garage while my home was being built which cost $300 each. Once I got Model 3, I bought $500 Wall Connector and then paid an Electrician to mount that to one of those 220v 40amp circuits for around $150. A 60amp circuit would have cost $600 each...
