I don't think so. I've got a ton of bootlegs that have no official artwork. The car has always displayed the exact file I embedded into the .mp3. This was not the case for the last 14 months streaming from my Plex server > phone > car.

That's the method that HAS worked for me. I started streaming from my house via an iPhone and bluetooth within a couple weeks after the "upgrade". Just impatiently waiting for the fix.

I installed Plex Media Server on my desktop computer so I could stream to my phone via LTE and actually see the artwork. It's been nice to see the images I added one album at a time...

I ended up installing Plex Server and am now streaming music from the house to my phone. Just so I can actually see artwork again. But it actually works. This whole thing is getting ridiculous at this point. Running 2020.48.35.5 on a 2019 Model 3.

No, I've had an SSD from day one. Only 12 days ago did I figure out that opening the app ~90 seconds prior to approaching the car will keep the USB music loaded.

That was me up until 12 days ago with a 500GB T5. Waking up via the app is a extra ridiculous step, but it works. I have connections just south of you in Porsgrunn. Alt for Norge.

I fixed this by opening the app on my phone before opening the car door. It's worked every time for the last ten days. Absolutely ridiculous that I have to do this at all, but here we are.

If anyone has developer type knowledge, how can improving Spotify break the functions of USB connectivity? If that's the issue here. It's like adding the "choose a priority phone key" function but breaking Bluetooth connectivity? I get they're related, but how can one of them just be broken?
