Just spoke to Tesla KC and Kum N Go in Bethany....SC will be operational this Wed, 5 Dec. If not, by Friday. Tesla said it will show up on car immediately as it is activated. Good...driving thru there on Sat and temps in low 20's and possibility of snow.

Hmmm....range of X90 is 257. We have an S75D, range about 250, and are going to make the same drive on Dec 9. First trip in winter, so I hope the weather isn't bad. If you have concerns, I guess I'm right with you.

The trip range graph in navigation seems to work really great, but so far under pretty normal conditions. Going on a trip, though, that may involve snow, wind, cold, altitude change, etc that will affect range. Question: When I set a destination, is the on-board range/power estimate "smart"...

Live in Baxter MN. The 8 SC's there are never busy....maybe one other T will be there at most. The restaurant/bar in the Arrowwood Lodge (SCs are in the parking lot) has good food. Right next door is the Jack Pine microbrewery...stop in and try a Fenceline, But, a thought...Baxter may be way...

Going late Dec with full load. Looking at A Better Route Planner with 300Wh/mi ref, at 25F, 600lbs, clear roads, estimates 100>11% for the trip at max speed of 63mph. Driving in past in ICE vehicle, we've seen snow and wind. ABRP doesn't get us all the way with those conditions. But, S75 has...

YES! Going KC - DesMoines mid-Dec. Have been fine with 75D on previous trips, but weather was warm and clear. This will be a nice spouse anti-anxiety stop. Hope it's operational by then.

Tim in CA....please keep us posted on any middle-band failures on your initial lights and whether the new ones eventually fail. I have 5 that need to be replaced (mid band flicker or out), but hesitant to go thru the trouble if most or all eventually fail. Note: even with the mid band failure...

Any updates on the timing? Driving Des Moines - KC stretch in late Jan. Early Q1 would be good. Learned that there are J1772 chargers in Limoni and Eagleville, so there are options to get a boost, but can't beat an SC for convenience.

RPM Tesla responded early today by email....really quickly....and said to send in the failed units for replacement. I guess I pay shipping, but the big problem is I'll be missing all trunk and frunk and an under-seat light until the replacements are sent. I'm wondering if they will continue to...

Bummer to see this...5 of the ten LEDs I bought from them have had the center column of lights flicker and eventually die. I just emailed them and hope to hear back. They are great lights brightness-wise, but the failure rate is totally unacceptable.
