Thanks for the heads up! For the benefit of owners in San Diego. I've had similar FOB RF interference issues with my ICE cars at Mt. Soledad. This post is a reminder to be vigilant when I go up there in the Tesla. At least the ICE's had a manual override and did not rely on RF communication...

I had this problem during the 3 days of ownership, and flagged it to the service center. However I was not able to reproduce it when I took it in. It has not happened again in the last 2wks.

I drove my BMW 550i today for the first time in a week. I must say the ICE feels like something from the Stone Age compared to the Model S! However the sound system puts the Studio Sound to shame! I have good ears and place value on good audio. This is definitely an area for improvement for Tesla!

I also have the crackling sound from front passenger side tweeter. The bass mid in the door is not working either! Love the car despite these issues, and hope Tesla fixes them quickly.

I have the same Liberty Mutual too. I called to add the Model S to a policy that includes my current BMW550i and Audi Q7. I was also shocked to find out that it adds $600/year!
