To Fix Quiet Audio, Toggle Joe Mode On Then Off

Turning on and off the fart mode is another fix. No kidding.

Reduced alert signal volume with 2023.26.7

My alert signal volume has gotten louder since yesterday. I first noticed this when I backed the car out of my garage to drive my kids to school. They all agreed that it's louder. The volume is not as loud as before I started this thread, but it's now at an acceptable level. One thing I did...

Reduced alert signal volume with 2023.26.7

Nope. It's been four updates since the issue first appeared on my car, and the alert volume is still abnormally low. My GPS voice seems to come out of the central speaker only.

Beware of ordering Tesla in NH!

A wild story I heard many years ago was this: A NH guy so wanted to get the car of his dream right then and there at the MA dealership lot that he asked the dealership to pay him $1 to hire him to "deliver" his newly purchased car to himself in NH. The dealership agreed and that's how it's done.

Reduced alert signal volume with 2023.26.7

I sorely miss the good old days when software updates gave you features that were useful (the one in late 2018/early 2019 that gave everyone an acceleration boost comes to mind). I have been more concerned about what would be broken/taken away by updates in the past couple of years.

Reduced alert signal volume with 2023.26.7

I installed 2023.26.8 last night. No cigar-- the problem persists. I checked out Joe Mode. It's always been disabled on my car. I tried flipping it on to see how low the volume would become-- It's extremely quiet, verging on inaudible.

Reduced alert signal volume with 2023.26.7

My 2018 AWD Model 3 was updated to 2023.26.7 two days ago. When I drove the car for the first time after the update, I noticed right away that the alert signals (safety belt not on, gear change, turns, etc) sounded a lot quieter/softer. Has anyone had the same experience? I haven't figured out...

Extreme battery loss on Model 3 (˜10% per day) since 2023.20.4.1. Contacted service and told this is normal (more info below)

I suppose you were referring to this thread (No longer sleeping after 2021.4.11) and other similar threads around March 2021. My Model 3 was hit with the problem back then. My car ended up having its charge port ECU replaced, although many reported a few days after my repair that a firmware...

Scratched side mirror bottom cover. Any inexpensive solutions?

Scratch the remaining black area so that they also look white. Repeat the same on the other side mirror. Total cost: $0.

Solved: Road Noise & Front Wind Noise

I will be the first to shamefully ask: May someone please make a video when they try this and post it here? A big "Thank You" in advance.

Wipers Turning to Manual from Auto

When I first got my 3 in 2018, the auto wiper was actually decent, wiping at a frequency close to how I would set it manually. Over the years, however, the feature has gradually degraded in quality, and now to the point of being close to useless-- It wipes at '3' when I am driving on a road with...

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

I don't fully agree with your specific analogies, but I concur that the EV market will mimic the mobile phone market. That's why people should not jump on this deal unless out of necessity-- EV prices have nowhere else to go but down in the near future (barring another event that perturbs the...

    Woodpecker noise from dash

Are you sure it's a woodpecker and not a cuckoo bird? 🤔 Honestly, I don't hear anything remotely resembling a sound made by birds in your video. I even put on my headset and turned the volume all the way up. Still nothing.

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

Seeing the recent price cuts, I am exasperated that I paid $55k for my Model 3 back in 2018. I have tweeted Elon to demand an immediate refund + lifetime free supercharging & premium connection for my car. I can dream, can't I? 🤣

My Model 3 Couldn't deliver to me due to damage at delivery parking

The car looks drivable. Suppose you want to secure the year-end delivery discount without any uncertainty-- You can take the delivery, and have Tesla put it in writing that they will fix the car to match its original form ASAP. Personally, I'd wait because, from what I have read, you'll get...
