    Bellevue Service Center Experience

I alerted Maddy to her being talked (written?) about here. She appreciates the kind words very much. She allowed me to quote her on one topic: “No, I will not be moving to Renton (or Lynnwood!).“

Advice: Road Condition to Tualatin, OR (from LA)

The road conditions through the Siskiyou Pass is the key to that trip. The Superchargers are nicely spaced all along I-5. I drove much of that route in my Model 3 RWD/LR in Sept 2018 and had no problems.

    Supercharger - North Bend, WA

I’ve been watching the Tesla SpC technician working at this site for the past few hours. Another guy (construction contractor worker?) has been helping him. At one point they had the back covers off of all the stations. Those are all back on now. All of the stations TESLA logo backlighting is...

1 of 19 Yellow Roadsters crashed and rebuilt by Medlock and Sons Tesla shop

No, thankfully, no one was hurt in the accident. Being the middle car in that "sandwich", my Roadster took the brunt of the damage, but it's back in operation now, with 1000+ more miles driven since being repaired. I take it out only on dry days, since the 3 is the all-weather car. Is #690...

    Brake switch: help requested

Good to hear that you've found one. I hope you'll have your Roadster back on the road very soon, enjoying summer driving!

    Brake switch: help requested

I'm checking on a possible source for one. My idea is that, if one can be found, send it to you to "borrow", then when your ordered switch comes in, you send either borrowed or new switch back.

    Brake switch: help requested

https://epc.teslamotors.com/#/systemGroups/78045 The online parts catalog shows that switch as a separate part -- 2000226, as @GJVR noted. It's conceivable that same switch was used in the Elise, so checking with a Lotus dealer or an online Lotus parts source could get you somewhere.

WTB: Dead Roadster MC240 for charging cable

The Corded MC is much more compact than the UMC, but requires a CAN-SR from @hcsharp to be useable with a Roadster, of course. I switched last year from carrying a UMC to the Corded MC, but I can't yet speak to the reliability of the former vs the latter, yet. My UMC is still working fine; I...

Wow, same here! :) I'm gonna double-check that with my friendly Tesla Assistant Service Manager.
