Our HVAC system was able to cool (or heat) the car and to defog at times. The challenge was the inconsistency of the defogging. And, overall, the system had been on auto, and the recirc was turned off....

Came here because we're having a similar problem with our Model S. Driving on a rainy night with system on "Auto" mode and window started fogging up. Turned defogger on, both defrost, and defog mode, and didn't have real effect until manually turning the fan to "11". Left it in that mode...

Re: Superchargers, it's more about their availability/ubiquity than ease of use. And, of course, fast charging is nice! We don't need a ton of range for daily driving, but good if we don't have to worry about charging every day in the middle of the winter, so nice to have some cushion. And...
