Just my thought, and it might not be possible if there is too many code changes or driver update compatibility issues, but if I were implementing this, I'd add a fallback that when the point cloud is too sparse for a given route, i'd continue to collect the new radar data and build out the point...

Hypothetically speaking, anyone have a guess what the LED headlamp upgrade would cost if they decided to make them available and if they fit into the existing housing? As a data point, a replacement of the headlamp assembly with the exact xenon part is $895/side from the parts department.

Burlingame confirmed my appointment for next Monday, but did mention that they are severely understaffed, and the upgrade might take as long as a week rather than 1-2 days. I'm going to go for it - better than getting back in line.

I put my name on the Burlingame list a long time ago (around the announcement) but didn't put down the deposit until fairly recently. FWIW, my advisor didn't think they were going to do it either until around a month ago when they finally got more info from Tesla HQ.
