Will it interfere with any auto pilot equipment to put pass on windshield in front of the rear view mirror assembly.

Before V8 I never had a problem with auto steer activating on my route. However the last week or so I've been commuting around dawn and in the rain. Auto steer isn't available. Is this typical for auto steer and lighting/weather? Is this a V8 problem? Combination?

Ok. I may have spoken too soon. Now that I have had the car for a couple of days, I've had a chance to look carefully, and there are some fit issues. The trunk is off (isn't flush) by about a quarter inch on one side, and the frunk also seems to be slightly off.
