Based on browsing the forum, it appears that US Bank uses Autovin for lease return inspections. Does Tesla Finance use Autovin - or does Tesla itself just inspect it at the Tesla center? And if it is inspected at the Tesla center, can you do a pre-inspection or they just inspect only on...

I'd be interested in hearing about people's experience in returning leased cars to Tesla (not US Bank but Tesla Finance). I've seen the Excess Wear and Tear Chart but some manufacturers are far more lenient than their published standards, particularly if you are leasing another car from them...

I'm not convinced that the dual chargers are necessary or even useful for many owners. I was bummed I didn't have dual but I haven't missed it -- I charge quick enough overnight in the garage at 20 and, as I understand it, superchargers bypass all this so no difference in SC rate with dual or not.

Subtracting the cost of the 4 year CPO warranty - call it 4500- it looks like you're at approximately 50% depreciation on a 3 year old car. That's pretty fair . Obviously, cosmetic damage can change that assessment depending on severity . But if it's just curbed wheels, I say it's a good deal...

What do you mean by "losing money on lease returns?" Do you mean that the re-sale price is lower than the sum of residual value + costs of reselling? Or something else? I started this thread many pages ago and still haven't figured out the logic (if any) behind market/CPO pricing.
