    Model S Pricing Europe

If we look at the price that you have to pay to get in line  5k dollars is 4k euros to get your reservation down. Then a 100k Tesla would cost 80k euro. Since the reservation prices were introduced the euro/dollar exchange currency has changed so I'm afraid the 80% calculation will be way...

    Where's the LOVE Elon?

I think this is a reasonable scenario. One thing is missing in it: The Sig holders in the rest of the world. When will these car be produced? After the US sigs?

    Model S Pricing Europe

As far as I know it's 151% :) This is the reason why I got interested in the Model S. Thing is that as far as I know for 2012 this is still the case but for 2013 we have to wait if we can still get this tax rebate. At first I thought the model S could replace my X5. But since my wife uses this...

The signature series is suppose to be more expensive.

I think this is what the extended leather means on the Signature version. BMW offers this too if you have an Individual BMW or if you choose the nappa leather package. I wouldn't be surprised if this is also one of the differences between the normal Model S and the Signature.

Ads which illustrate why I am so pissed about Tesla's marketing of the 160

I think the problem can be easily solved when tesla just presents us with the standard equipment. Buyers who buy the standard car will stop looking at the things the don't get (or want to pay for) and start looking for al the kit that is included in their new car. I'm not a marketing guy...

Ads which illustrate why I am so pissed about Tesla's marketing of the 160

I understand that you are upset. But at the same time we didn't get the 1 minute battery swap (that would have been awesome). And it does say base price 49,900. So with that in mind I see the site pictures you posted more as something to give us an idea what to expect. To be honest, the car...

    Model S Pricing Europe

If I calculate the dutch roadsterprice back to the US roadsterprice it should be around 90% of the us dollars price in euro's. So 105,400 dollars would come out to 94.860 euros. I understand that it will take a few months for Tesla to release euro pricing. If we are unlucky the euro will...

    Model S Pricing Europe

Just noticed that I made a mistake. EU won't get the tax rebate of 7.500 euro. So with the correct figures it would look like this for a Signature Performance: 105,400 dollars = 89.185 euros

    Model S Pricing Europe

Now the US pricerange is available I am starting to wonder what we can expect in Europe. My hope is that the pricerange will be calculated as followed: US Price -/-30% (euro/dollar conversion) + 10% for shipping and handling. Wich would mean for a Signature with Performance Package...

    Model S Reservation Tally

LuckyLuke, in my case (also The Netherlands) it took about 5 days before I got a confirmation of my reservation. I checked regularly on the mytesla part of the website and found my production number about a day before they called me.

    Model S specs

I'm also wondering if the car has Park Distance Control (PDC). Camera's are fun (I have a backup camera on my BMW) but PDC is a necessity in Europe with our tight parking spots and parking garages. A camera alone would not be sufficient for me.
