I had mine in for service and the note was "issue is currently under investigation. It does not indicated a safety issue and is not expected to get worse or have any negative effect on vehicles' lifetime. If any improvements are available in the future, this customer will be updated." - sigh...

I am in the same boat. I am currently on 2022.36.6 with a pending update for 2022.40.4.1. However, I haven't installed it since the latest public beta is on 2022.36.20. Has anyone here confirmed, if you leave the higher pending update and the criteria of 80+ safety score and 100+ Autopilot miles...

#1: I have read Tesla plans to replace (or add) 4G radio later on. It already has WiFi capabilities (just not enabled) that can be used in your feature request of using a hotspot that is dedicated to the car instead of the built-in 3G (or future 4G) radio.

@MTGMAN:I believe it is there as of today. I didn't know yours was on the same batch. Congrats! Are you picking it up or having it delivered like me? I am set for a home delivery as of last Tue for this Fri at 12:00 pm. @Bearman: it truly is; however I didn't make this video.
