I've found using the heated seats (contact points to your body) keep me just as warm as heating the cabin and are much easier on the battery. If the Model 3 had a heated steering wheel I doubt I'd to warm the air in the car at all.

Yep, I do but I live in Cleveland so the days that I can leave the windows open even in the garage are going to wind down soon. Even with an insulated garage it gets very cold. I do exactly that. Keeps the sand that collects on me from getting onto the seats too.
