FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I was really enjoying FSD until it started drifting in the lane, over a 90 mile drive it gradually positioned itself farther and farther left in the lane until it was driving on the yellow line and I disengaged. Still did it when I reengaged, whether I was in the left or right lane, still on...

New FSD v12 automatic speed setting works pretty well

I find even in chill it sometimes accelerates too fast and brakes too hard, needs to anticipate better. Other times it is very tentative. Mostly need to be able to specify a limit to how fast it will go, I never want to be doing 15 over the speed limit. I can't understand why the scroll wheel...

Windows Phone Link Blocking Tesla Key

Yes, I tried Windows Phone Link and while I had it active I would have to cycle my phone Bluetooth to connect to the car. Phone key worked fine, but audio/phone connection would not connect. Disabled Windows Phone Link and now it connects fine.

    Single Tap is Great!

I am worried as well, but so far I have noticed no unreasonable limits, but a lot more nags and the annoying switch to single-pull without my selecting it (was quite a surprise the first time I put on my blinker for a lane change). Haven't tested it on an unlined road yet, that might be where...

    Navigation Aggravation

I have experienced all kinds of navigation hiccups in the last month. The first thing I noticed is that it would keep updating the start point of the trip, indicating I was coming from some random location near my current location. Then on some trips it would actually reroute multiple times a...

How to reset your Tesla to fix issues

Wouldn't the Power cycle reset all the computers, thus making the Scroll Wheel Reset unnecessary? Maybe the Language Reset as well?

Agree, will keep that in mind

AP makes it so relaxing to drive!!

I wonder if the nag sensitivity is something service can address. I have no problem with just light pressure on the wheel, I have only pulled it out of Autopilot once by putting too much pressure on it. I like the idea of actually responding to user input, though that would seem to negate the...

AP makes it so relaxing to drive!!

Don't understand why you have to disengage - turning on the turn signal disengages Autopilot, but leaves TACC enabled. Pass the car (using extra pedal if needed to speed up quicker without disengaging TACC), when back in lane you reengage Autopilot. Not nearly the hassle you make it out to be...

Phone "keyless entry" works, but not "keyless start"

Similar but different issue - my M3 intermittently won't open any doors until I open the app on the phone, or other times will open only the drivers door (then all the other doors work and the car starts normally). Checked to ensure that the phone is set to Location Always.

    Vehicle to Home Charging

Does seem like Tesla is way behind on this one, and really why? It seems so in line with their mission? https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2023/02/07/ev-battery-power-your-home/

    Hansshow Audio Upgrade? (SR+)

tapping into a speaker input will have no impact on the other speakers, the input impedance will be much higher than a speaker.

Traffic aware cruise control - should it update the set point?

Actually, I just drove back from Myrtle Beach (good timing!) and I used AutoPilot almost continuously. I only noticed it changing the speed limit a couple of times, but maybe that is because I fiddled with the speed limit not infrequently. I will make a more formal test.

Traffic aware cruise control - should it update the set point?

I have been wondering why my M3 changes speed limits somewhat randomly. Most of the time it doesn't, so when it does it confuses me. I will test this theory, I usually use only TACC, so if I understand you TACC doesn't change speed according to the speed limit. I have seen it respond to other...
