Trading in my 2017 Model S for a non-Tesla EV. How do I get a partial refund for a Tesla extended warrantee? Does anyone have any experience with this?
I have FSD installed and activated. I'm not sure how to use it. Do I put in a destination and choose Navigate on Autopilot? Then what?
Can some kind soul please please walk this idiot through how to make it work?
Thanks in advance.
I have been using the standard home charger (240 volt service) flawlessly for the last 4 years to charge my MS. I just purchased a Volvo XC40 Recharge as a second vehicle. Volvo is giving me a free ChargePoint Home Flex (I have to pay for the install). I know I'll need to use the J1772 adapter...
Following the most recent firmware update (2020.48.12.1), I find that my Rear Camera Screen is 99% white. In the shade I can see an extremely faint image.
I have rebooted. The other cameras seem normal.
2017 MS 100D HW3 (upgraded) MCU2 (upgraded) Vin: 200XXX
I have a June 2017 MS 100D (EAP HW 2.0). I purchased the FSD when they had that $2k sale last year. My logic was that, even if I didn't get any new features, I wanted that upgraded computer. I hoped, potentially, it would give me a safer car.
When Tesla had the sale on "FSD" for $2000, I purchased it for one reason only: The upcoming HW 3.0 computer.
I'm hoping that since my June 2017 MS 100D EAP is HW 2.0, the computer upgrade could make my EAP function better and safer. Anything else would be a plus.
Speaking for myself and the vast majority of Las Vegas "Locals": We almost never go to the strip. There are casinos that cater to locals "off the strip". The draw being: pretty good, reasonably priced restaurants.
I'm wondering if yours might be a different issue. I've had the yellow border issue twice (first time replaced, the second time I now waiting for the promised cure). Both times the issue was no more than a 1/4 inch wide. And a light brownish yellow.
I too am fed up with these 2 same issues. It has been ongoing for me since 2019.5.15. Before that it was "silky smooth".
The worse examples are when vehicles enter the freeway on an entry lane to my right, the car brakes hard. Also when a car gets in front of me in my travel lane, far in front...
In my case, I would prefer to have a check box defining the "default" or "primary" phone. 95% of the time my wife and I travel together in our MS. If she enters first, as a passenger, her phone becomes the active one, even though I'm driving.
