I’m not sure why the legislation says but I’d hope that it actually act as a ceiling and prevent the car exceeding the set limit. Having it just ‘bong’ is a waste of space. My 2012 Prius did that.

I’d much prefer an update that sorted all the things that only work some of the time, gave us features that would be really useful, e.g. speed limiter, got rid of the things that should never happen and finally gave us everything we paid for. I just want a car that works, not a games machine...

My 2020 3LRwould have been about 310 when new. I keep it 80% rightly or wrongly. 100% now is about 298 but last year during a holiday it showed 305 at 100% The actual mileage returned on that journey was closer to 320 as it was warm and I was light footed 😁
