Unfortunately the rattle can I had in the garage was a glossy one so while still tacky I dabbed the grip with an old sponge for that textured, matt finish. I'll let it dry overnight and tomorrow I will put the new anatomic grip to the test. Hopefully I will experience unimpeded and comfortable ride!

I then pressed the neodymium magnets in and reinstalled the grips on the wheel with some baking sheet in between the two halfs to test the fit.

When I was happy with the form I used a plastic butter knife to split the grip in two halfs.

More sculpturing to get a nice comfortable grip. It came to me that FIMO material would make nice custom grips for competition target pistols.
