I love and hate the doors.... You can make them open a little less high which is not as bad, but they are a bit of a pain for attention, and my kids are obsessed with them. I think the important question for the X being a good daily car is how much you drive on a normal day. My rule of thumb...

I'm on 2018.4.7 now and release notes are the same. I was prior on 2018.4.5 as I had just come back from SC visit. I have noticed no difference, but haven't tested/driven much.

My understanding is the new Model 3 front plate is being applied with 3M double sided Auto tape. I'm considering doing this on my X for the front plate. I just don't like the look of "the law" and the other option with rods. I'd rather the plate sit where it is designed to be, but don't want...

I'm 5'10" and I can sit comfortably in the 3rd row in the new 7 seater. Not comfortable at all in a 6 seater or the old 7 seater (electronic 2nd row). The new 7 seater is MUCH better for space in the 3rd row
