    Taiga Electric Snowmobile Launch

Some winter pictures: The sled with backrest and rear basket installed. Plus the dashboard. It shows the connection to the mother ship (It's cell not satellite), wifi, and bluetooth. The App connects to the snowmobile via bluetooth.

    Taiga Electric Snowmobile Launch

This is not a sled for the remote long distance trail folks - you are correct. I think I said that earlier. I've had a number of "discussions" on X, where folks have just trashed the machine, because you can't trail ride in the Rockies. Unless there is a breakthrough in battery tech, that will...

    Taiga Electric Snowmobile Launch

Update! My Nomad Founder's Edition arrived in May 2023.....no chance to drive it other than on the grass. My VIN is 81 (includes Orca water machines); I got the first one in Ontario. The photo is arrival day I took it to a sustainability show in August - it had an error message on the screen...

    Supercharger - Minden, ON

My son, driving my old S85D, coming from Ottawa, to our cottage on Davis Lake (just south of Minden) is delighted with this news. If Tesla ever opens the SC network to "outsiders", so will I.

    Supercharger - Minden, ON

I was correct on my guess: 92 Water Street is the Canadian Tire!. Good location, just off Hwy 35, walkable to Kawartha Dairy Bar.....

    Supercharger - Minden, ON

Took a peek around town on Saturday - Nothing to report. I still believe it will be at the Canadian Tire

    Supercharger - Minden, ON

There are 4 Ivy 7.2 KW J1772 in the parking lot at the Municipal office, downtown. Okay if you are doing some shopping (or if the Rockcliffe Inn Pub re-opens). Have you heard of other plans for an HVDC?

    Supercharger - Minden, ON

Only 3 real places for this: Foodland/LCBO parking lot - good location on #35, but busy parking lot - ICE issues Canadian Tire parking lot - good location, .5 KM off #35, close enough to walk to Kawartha Dairy Bar 😁 AT the Kawartha Dairy bar! (This is one of the best ice cream places in the...

Drove and then leased an Audi e-Tron

I finally got my e-Tron in August. 1 month of driving - my report Audi positives: Much quieter ride, no rattles, no road/tire noise Smoother suspension. Like driving a couch (or chesterfield, if you're in Canada). Heads up display Android auto/Apple car play Ventilated seats Absolutely...

Anything to be aware of when selling a Tesla?

Thanks for the comment I still follow TMC. I'm a Starlink beta tester (and I love it) My son, the new owner of my old S85D, lives in Ottawa, and he's now on this forum, and is a member of the Tesla Owners club of Ontario. There will be a chapter in Ottawa, as soon as Covid is done...and I might...

Anything to be aware of when selling a Tesla?

Well.......... My son "convinced me" to sell him my car, at a very reasonable price....so I didn't go public. He also got my snow tires, HPWC, winter matts, second UMC (long story), extended warranty, and free Supercharging. I wasn't going to sell it for another year, but, I did get him out of...

Anything to be aware of when selling a Tesla?

I just sold mine 3 weeks ago. I transferred the car out of my mytesla account, and named the new owner. The new owner set up an account with mytesla, and 5 minutes later he got an email from Tesla confirming the car was in his account. We tested it 30 minutes later at a Supercharger (I had free...

What is your autopilot speed limit set to when driving on hov lanes ?

My TACC is set at 119. I'm not in as much of a hurry to get places, since I retired. Maybe I'll get a straw hat, and hang out in the passing lane at 90.....;)

Tale the US leased tesla to Canada

Importing a new car vs servicing a non-domestic car are different issues. Importing a new vehicle means that Tesla would have to make changes to the car to meet Canadian standards. There are about 3-4 items that need to be done. Daytime running lights being the biggest. This happens whenever...

Tale the US leased tesla to Canada

Incorrect. The Tesla warranty is North America-wide, regardless of place of purchase. I had some warranty work done on my Canadian Tesla, while en route to South Carolina. I called them (Cranberry PA Service Centre), they took me in, fixed it, and was on my way.
