I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but i had to get a control arm replaced on my model x (53k miles)... it was off warranty due to mileage. They would not give me a loaner and i had to rent a car.... they also took 2 days to fix it (after the scheduled service date) which cost me...

intercontinental which is on michigan avenue but close to the river has a charge point charger in their parking garage. you can valet park it and charge it while in valet. i think a few other hotels have destination tesla charging... i think one of them is AC Hotel.

is this one always on when car is parked? it seems like a much easier install based on youtube video from 007 tesla.
