2023 Model Y LR Battery Capacity?

I don't think we have enough information about the nature of the tests and how (or if) it distorts responses like current consumed to recharge. Are these actual test results, or are they projected results based on some physical testing? I'm not able to say how reflective of reality those figures...

2023 Model Y LR Battery Capacity?

Yeah, they don't actually list the units as amp-hours, but I've checked a number of different vehicles with known battery sizes and it checks out. These numbers aren't as helpful for some General Motors vehicles, as they've taken to submitting lower-than-nominal voltages here.

2023 Model Y LR Battery Capacity?

"Recharge Event Energy (kiloWatt-hours) 91.115" This is how much energy it took to replace the energy drained from the battery including losses, from what I can tell. The figure I originally stated, 84.6 kWh, is derived from multiplying nominal voltage by capacity in Ah. Deciphering some these...

How to charge a newly purchased used car before it's added to my tesla account.

Thanks, and apologies for the slow response. I got the car at the dealer and the transfer happened within minutes. Best possible result.

How to charge a newly purchased used car before it's added to my tesla account.

How long did it take Tesla to add the car to your app after you submitted the bill of sale? I'm supposed to travel to Chicago on Saturday to pick up a used Model 3, and I need to be able to drive right away so I can get back in time for an important event super-early Monday morning. Am super...

    Stanphyl Capital and Mark Spiegel

See, this is what I was thinking. The revenue stream from his poorly managed fund doesn't seem like enough to support his lifestyle: Porsche, Manhatten condo, etc. And who is going to continue to pay someone to perform half as well as the S&P? So many questions...

    Stanphyl Capital and Mark Spiegel

Latest "earnings" report is in. Predictably, it's not good.

Join push for SEC Investigation of TSLA manipulators and inside traders

And so do reporters writing for the largest newspapers in the country. Unraveling a Tesla Mystery: Lots (and Lots) of Parked Cars Even a joke tweet, after it gets the short treatment, then blasted at journalists by a swarm of Twitter accounts, is given credibility by someone who I think is...

Man, this thread is in need of an update. Here's the latest: the B1 gets a nose job. Here's what the nose will look like. Video below, with more at the embedded link.

The Drive attacks Fred Lambert, Electrek

To be fair, he's probably not on TMC for journalism. Anyway, I think The Drive has had pretty good Tesla articles, though I personally think the author of this piece has a deeply held bias against the company, which is pretty evident (again, IMO) if you read his tweets and articles. That...

    "My name is Luka"...

It's a great looking car. I wrote it up for InsideEVs -- from which CarScoops grabbed it and didn't credit us (welcome to the internet, Domenick. Enjoy your stay.). Anyway, If you're interested, here's a link to my piece, plus an older article discussing the development of the idea. Finally...

Semi takes its first business trip

You know, some of those shorts (and probably an "unbiased" auto journalist or two), are so desperate for unflattering Tesla stories, I would not be surprised if they hired people to follow the trucks on their behalf. As a writer myself, I would love to be following them, though. Even trouble...
