    Canceled my Model X order . . . .

Customer service plummets at the end of quarters and pivots to exclusively trying to get as many cars out of the door. Try again now. They'll be back to focusing on closing sales. The only negative is you'll have to wait at least a month for Tesla to pivot back to North America deliveries...

    M3 Keycard Holder Solution

I ended up getting one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B9KJSCF It's not as fancy (or expensive) as the leather one -- but I like how utilitarian it is over the other options because it has a key ring for the valet stands.

Model 3 shifts into Park by itself

Same thing happened to me trying to back out of a parking space with my seatbelt unbuckled! It was really jarring and confusing in the moment; in retrospect it totally makes sense.

Are there any TM3s out there without ANY issues?

I’m still on the fence on which car I prefer better, but the Model 3 is hands down more solid and better built. No rattles, smaller gap tolerances, and just more bespoke and nuanced.

Anyone in LA (SFV) with Midnight Silver (delivered)?

I have a Midnight Silver Model S and a Midnight Silver Model 3. They are the same exact color.

Are there any TM3s out there without ANY issues?

Zero issues. VIN 508X. Exponentially better built than my 2017 Model S.

Model S to model 3 regret?

Drive a Model 3. Borrow one, bribe someone with some beer, rent one on Turo, etc. I absolutely love my wife’s Model 3, but I’d still take my 2017 S75 over it any day of the week. The S75 just feels more luxurious, more magic-carpet-ride feeling, more enveloping, and more spacious. The Model 3...

    Model 3 Ready To Order

This is incorrect. After you put down your $2500 confirmation payment, you are presented with several screens about how you want to register the car and have the chance to upload supporting drivers licenses and insurance docs. This is where you'd specify your friend’s info in lieu of yours...

Used Model S or Wait for Model 3?

What kind of car do you drive now? And what do you value in a car more - the ride or the fits and finishes - or size? The Model S drives like a magic carpet ride and the interior is way more luxe and encompassing. It’s a large car that takes some getting used to if you’re coming from a...

New Tesla Model S Arachnid 21" Forged Wheels, Pilot SS Tires and TPMS

Up for sale is a set of (4) brand new Tesla Silver Arachnid Rims for the Model S (not Model X). These 4 wheels are fully mounted, balanced, and have the Tire Pressure Monitors installed by Tesla Centinela. The wheels have never been driven on and the tires are brand new and never used. Tires...

Buy the Model S Now or Wait 3-4 months?

Where are you on the budget for a Model S? If you’re towards the bottom end of the S75 it may be a good reason to buy now, too. Total speculation but I think the entry-level S is going to get more expensive over time as they milk the high-end and high-margin variants of the Model 3.

    US Bank end of Lease

I’ve done this on a Chevy Volt lease with US Bank - they cut about 5K off of the buyout amount. With the demand and used market value of the Telsa so much stronger - curious to see if they do the same.

2017 model s cracked glass roof upon delivery

My roof had a crack that surfaced a few days after delivery. They replaced it at the service center. It doesn’t feel like any different of a car or have any compromises because of the repair. That said, they did also have to replace the windshield and headliner. The windshield because there...
