    Dog Mode Improvement Needed

I normally take my dog wherever I go, but when on long trips, he gets his potty break first (a walk around the supercharger areas), and then I (normally) visit a store or restaurant to do my own business. To each there own. If you are able to take your pet inside the facilities with you, then...

Did the Model 3 kill the Model S and the Model X and Tesla with them?

Nice Post! RE: 4. I hadn't thought of it like that but totally agree with you. Gotta keep the high-end vehicles "high end" to entice buyers. RE 8. Oh please Tesla do not go to the dealership model. This one of the facets of Tesla that I really like. I do know how to haggle for price on a...

Wheel Jog with Auto Lane Change

I agree... I can’t seem to avoid the nag even though I almost always keep two hands on the wheel and perform the rotational movements as you mention.

Wheel Jog with Auto Lane Change

Just to confirm... When you say "via pressure", you do mean that you are applying a left or right torqueing movement to the wheel and not simply gripping the wheel harder (as if squeezing a water bottle). I'm not meaning to offend, just hoping to clarify. Thank you for your post.

Venting because of the lies... oh the lies

He said Black is cheap??? OMG, I LOVE black. The fact that I didn't have to pay extra for it is icing on the cake. They could charge extra for "every" color option and I would have STILL selected black. Okay, I did get the 19" sport wheels.... but cheap?? Ugh Like Runnergirl said (I'm...

    Anti-Tesla/EV road rage experiences?

Same happened yesterday inside neighborhood with speed bumps. MS was riding my $&@ like he wanted to kiss it. I ignored him until my turn, at which time I simply gave a BIG hearty wave. Really creepy weird.

    Model S Software/Firmware wishlist

Yours is a perfect analogy. My post was an angry rant. Thank you.

Sentry Mode for EAP equipped vehicles

    My thoughts exactly.

    Model 3 Software Update 2018.50.x

Thieves trying the door before smashing window? My (non-thief) guess is that that is what I would do first to try and avoid detection. If locked, then I’d resort to breaking in. Back seat down? I’ve done (and on occasion continue to do) that as well. I’m hoping that they are browsing cars for...

    Model 3 Software Update 2018.50.x

Sorry, I called it a passcode. It is “pin to drive”. It’s been available since....mmm, don’t remember. But, I use it in lieu of worrying about locking. I don’t store anything in the car and maybe (just maybe) it will save a broken out window someday.

    Model 3 Software Update 2018.50.x

I used the passcode on mine so, while they could get into the vehicle they wouldn’t be able to go anywhere.

    Model 3 Software Update 2018.50.x

I just got the update and to confirm (that nothing seems to be consistent), my walk-away auto lock still functions while parked in the garage and connected to WiFi. Things that make me go hmm...

Tesla swap? London based 100D owner moving to NYC

OP asked (as I did read) “...or am I wrong” which opened up the conversation to what functionality he/she might have if choosing instead to bring the car to USA. Also, in my post I wrote that I transferred a RHD (Right Hand Drive) Honda to/from Japan and USA. It is absolutely possible and the...

Tesla swap? London based 100D owner moving to NYC

If your company pays shipping, as mine did for my RHD Honda CRV years ago, your warranty would only be an issue while overseas. Also, many of owners rarely visit SCs. Depending upon your mileage, that may be a non-issue.

What did you name your Tesla?

Her nickname: Betty (after my mom) Her License name: NAH-ICE (as in, Nah for "no" and ICE which we all know) Her fullname: Betty Nahice (sounds like ”Very Nice” if you put a Japanese twist on it) 「日本語の活用形で発音すると「ベリー ナイス」のように聞こえます。」
