Odd. I'm not sure what the trigger is... I assumed it was the FWD opening/closing before car start. Mine turns on automatically now without having to manually touch the rear screen or activate the rear HVAC from the front screen.

Not sure if it's different in the MX but it's surprisingly somewhat effective in my new 2023 MX.

Can confirm that 2023.20.7 has fixed this issue and now the rear turns on if there are passengers in the rear (including kids in car seats!)

Nope, there's a Tesla Service wifi (at least in Lake Forest). It says to be used while at the service center.

I truly think the hack works. Just visited the service center for 5 minutes to connect to the wifi and now I have 2023.20.7 pushed for install! Non-believers will say it's a coincidence...

I have the OPPOSITE problem in my MX. My system defaults to OFF after every start. I want to stay in AUTO for my kids in the back.

I'm a believer; I've done this previously as well and I think it works. Haters will hate. Thumbs up

Every time I start the vehicle only the front HVAC is on and I have to manually turn on the rear HVAC. How do I set it so that the rear is always on?

Great, I liked FSD Beta on my previous 2019 MX. Hoping it's decent on the new 2023 MX with HW4.

New, and it has 23.12.300... (I left off the extra 00)

Just took delivery of a '23 MX and paid for FSD. Car has 2023.12.3 installed; reset and staying on wifi. Hoping to get a software update tonight

I don't expect any significant releases until they start delivering the updated S and X. My guess is there will be a big update at that time for AP and the UI.
