    Keep Right. Ahhhhhhhhhh

I posted (on upgrade thread?) that I found recently in France, during the limited driving I did, that it was working how we would like so wondered if it’s only an issue when in countries where we drive on the left. Gives me hope it’s not intentional and will be fixed.

    Auto Wipers

🙋‍♂️Mine basically never dry wiped nor did a bad job until a couple of updates ago. Still no dry wiping but I now need to choose a setting or manual wipe most drives in rain.

    [UK] 2024.8.x

I’ve just had a little drive in France and it isn’t doing the same over here. On the trip to Folkestone it told me to stay on the motorway for pretty much (or all?) junctions but in France it told me I had 40km, or whatever it was, to my exit and there were plenty of exits on the way to mine...

    [UK] 2024.8.x

I can’t say I found this last weekend when I went to the Trentham chargers a couple of times. It showed 4 free both times and that was reality.

    So… Highland is out…

I don’t disagree with your post but, from what I’ve seen, a lot of the alternatives are at a much higher price point. When I bought my first M3 I thought they were expensive but their current peers for performance and range seem to be getting crazy expensive. I used to consider the Tesla...

    Hows your adaptive high beam?

On 8.7 too. I’ve just driven back from up North to West London and on the motorway (not the most beneficial place to have it) it was quite interesting to see it keep changing its beam ,quite rapidly, based on where cars were on the road ahead. If I was in inside lane with cars in lane 2 it...

    What’s your job?

I retired 2 years ago at 55 after a career in IT (programmer -> CTO).

    Thinking of selling

I retired a couple of years ago at 55 and found that I don’t have the same need to keep current with material goods (I no longer have the latest iPhone and don’t care like I did when I was in an office environment). The same goes for my car - despite not realising I’d have that mindset change...

    New Highland UK - stalks

100% in agreement with this. I’ve done the same thing a number of times - I often switch to radio from Bluetooth when reversing off my drive then find I need to turn the volume down. Each time I wonder why I’ve been too impatient to wait a few secs and turn on the radio once going forward...

    Residuals / Depreciation

From what I saw - the summary of that video was that a guy had a “proper meltdown over selling his Taycan - he just dragged it out too long 😀.

    Residuals / Depreciation

That video appeared on my YT home page the other day and, sure enough, I got bored quickly and watched something else instead. I agree it would be handy for somebody to summarise when posting links but isn’t that somewhat unfair for those, like [I imagine] this guy, who are trying to earn a...

    Tesla Alternative?

As excellent as the Tesla is for pre-heating, do you not find it’s kinda superficially at the correct temperature when the app suggests it’s got there? If I have the time, I tend to wait another couple of mins or so for the whole cabin to feel warm.

    [UK] 2023.44

As somebody who found their wipers worked fine (apart from when I had under diluted screenwash) - over the last couple of weeks I’ve had to intervene very regularly on rainy days. What’s frustrating me is that it appears that if I set them on level 3 in TACC then that setting gets lost when you...

    Tesla Alternative?

As the Model X is only available in LHD is that even a valid comparison? I’d say Tesla only really have 3 & Y as viable options in UK now.
