Door handle issues! Self-fix by fuse pull/re-insertion!

I just had the same problem this month. I had an appointment with a ranger at my home, but it started working the day before the appointment. Then I took the car in for service. They tried to replicate the problem for an hour according to the service report (spraying the car with water). No...

Removing Speed Limit Mode without pin

I had the same problem today. I talked to three service centers. Big thanks to Victor and Anna Marie at the Rockville, MD location. They are awesome!!!! Go to controls Settings Driver Assistance (I think) Turn the speed limit slider to off. It gives you the PIN screen, but also gives you a...

"Hidden" features in the Tesla navigation

In my three years of navigation, I noted 1 change. I can now say "cancel navigation" and it works. Definitely did not work at the start, but worked the other day.

Remote pre-heating: What does what when with what version ?

I just noticed the Defrosting today. I looked at the remote S app and it showed a red line along where the wiper heat would be and a red back part of the car which would be the rear window. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and just jumped in the car and drove away. As it was not super cold, I did...

Recommendations for Detailing Shops in the Greater Boston Area

I had xpel put on my 2015 Model S at Unique Car Care. They were in Stoneham, but a search today shows them in Andover. They did a great detailing job before putting the film on. I was very happy with their work.

Philadelphia EV Policy Task Force Draft Issued for Public Comment

Thanks for this. I visit my daughter in Philadelphia and I've noticed the streetside outlets for charging. I've always wondered what was going on.

    Pulsating Noise and Solution

Just happened to me last night. I thought that I had something wrong with the tire, then I noticed that it didn't stop when I stopped the car. Went away when I rebooted.

    New AP 1 Behavior?

I had a similar "that's weird" moment yesterday. Same thing really. A road that changes from divided to barrier, used to let me AP at 70, but yesterday it started to slow unexpectedly. It might have been were the road went to a barrier. I will check again today.

FOB Question - does it work from your pocket?

I have kept the fob in my pocket from time to time and it works (2year old battery). I have had the car not see the fob once or twice when it is not in my pocket. I'm guessing that there was some kind of external interference.

    winterpack - red windcreen....

I have the winter package. What I thought happened when that button was pushed was that the area of the windscreen where the wipers are (in the rest position) warms the wipers. I have that opinion because when I look at the wind screen there appear to be heating wires in that area. I don't think...
