Difficult situation with a Condo, advice appreciated...

I just came upon this thread, read the first few messages & then skipped to the end, so forgive me if I didn't notice if someone else has already suggested this. You're living in L.A. where there are a ton of Superchargers – so why not just make use of them when you need to juice up? It's not...

Tesla infotainment system upgradeable from MCU1 to MCU2

Huge disappointment to be losing FM. I listen only to one station regularly - NPR. I've used Tunin when traveling, but can't remember if NPR (live) works with it. Can someone enlighten me?

Blog Tesla Considering Cybertruck Factory in Central U.S.

@3Electric: It's my understanding that Tesla has "Galleries" in Texas where people interested in their cars can look and take a test drive, but can't actually purchase or order a car there. It's having to do with not having independent dealers in the state and has been that way since Tesla began...

Blog Tesla Considering Cybertruck Factory in Central U.S.

Surely Elon can do better than offering this plum, that will undoubtedly include plenty of jobs, and tax revenues, that many states would bend over backwards to be the recipients of, than one whose politicians are so under the spell of the dealership old boys that they still won't allow Tesla to...

Warning!!! Model 3 will make you immature (again)

Hey Gize, If you've GOT to get "the feeling" I suggest going to a local drag strip. You left out a few "what ifs" on your list such as, what if you totaled your new baby so soon after "giving birth," or w.i. you became the next 15-minute instant celebrity who killed himself or some pedestrian...

    Has Model S quality improved?

"I am coming from the world of German ICE vehicles and the quality and after purchase care is spectacular. Just getting cold feet form all the posts from other owners." @ Northern Goat. I'm on my 2nd Model S. The first was an early 2014 S85 which I kept for just over 3 years. The only problem I...

    Wiki Superchargers Visited

I got robbed by someone with a gun when I stopped to charge my car at the charger in Topeka, Kansas. Thanks for the well-written reminder that it's really important to remain vigilant when we're in these late-night, lonely situations. Your handling of the incident was rational and advice is...

    Tesla offering insurance next month

I'd love to dump my current insurer - Chubb. My rate increased 24% this year. When I questioned "why," I was told it was because "Chubb had an increase in the state of Ohio, and my wife had a minor fender-bender with her ICE at a local shopping center." I originally went with Chubb because my...

    Supercharger - Parkersburg, WV

This is a great location for those of us traveling along this longitude in the US. It opens up the option of spending some time OFF of the Interstate, and the opportunity to use less traveled roads like US 50 through Ohio & West Virginia. The section through WV, east out of Parkersburg, also...

    Supercharger - West Cincinnati, OH

Stopped at the recently opened West Cincinnati Supercharger a few days ago. What a great surprise! This was the fastest charger I've ever run into. It's rated at 120 kW, and I was actually getting 118 for quite a bit of my session. Have a look at the Image.

    Supercharger - West Cincinnati, OH

@mechrock. If you’re headed north through Cincinnati on i75, the S.charger in Blue Ash is only a 5 minute drive off of it on the Cross County (Regan) Hwy. Another option for you is, once you cross into Cincinnati from Kentucky, instead of going North up i75, get on i71 North. Then when you get...

A thread for people with no problems

Got my MS 85 Sept 29, 2014. Currently has just under 27,000 miles. Very reliable, only problem was one of the door handles didn't present about a year after I received it. Cincinnati Tesla Service fixed it immediately. Everything else has been flawless. I love it!

    60D vs 90D - Worth $18,000 difference

I'd get the biggest battery I could afford. You never know when the urge to jump in the car a take a long trip might come. This is a marvelous car & once you have it for a while you'll be looking for excuses to go places, especially if you have the time. If I had to save some $$$s, l'd forgo...
