i should try switching back to the 3G modem and see what happens with the G Fi SIM. I'm currently back to the Hologram SIM - came with the 3G modem and not sure if it's 4G since it's connecting WCDMA in the 4G modem.

Enabling GPS didn't work. I also flashed the latest Edge release (3.3.001-285-g601f2a70/ota_0/edge (build idf v3.3.4-848-g1ff5e24b1 Feb 20 2022 00:04:30)) and same. Connects to Google Fi, but not to the server. I've opened a ticket per mark's post.
