Passed by this morning and saw that the transformer has been installed! Lights for the units are still off. Seems like any day now.

I was in the area this morning. Still no change. Plywood still overing the big hole where the transformer would go. Seems almost like a joke at this point.

The days of autoX events at Boeing Everett are long gone. We lost access about 11 years ago, if I recall correctly. BEAC uses Sanderson Field exclusively now as do a lot of car clubs in the area. It probably brings in more income to the port of Shelton during the warm months than the planes...

Byron did a 'How long can a Tesla keep you warm in winter?' test about a year ago. Definitely worth the time to watch. It should put to rest anyone's concerns.

More or less a hunch. There would have to be enough vehicles willing & capable to travel that route before Tesla would invest in expanding to connect the lower 48 to AK. While the S3XY line up can make that drive today, they would probably be limited to only 4 months for S & 3 and maybe 6...
