I too am looking to do JDM style wheels on my model 3. I tried to test for a set of 19” SSR Type C’s off of my other car, and yes, the lug nut holes will need to be bored out from 12mm to 14mm. Here is a mock up of the wheels next to my car.

Aloha! New Pearl White Long Range Model 3 owner here. Had it for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love it! I see 2 other model 3’s frequently at the Volta charging stations at Ka Makana Alii when I go to the gym. Would love to meet other owners in the island!
