So the solar array is just cut off from the grid during an outage but charges the powerwalls?

We are in eastern Washington State and have 82 panels and a Generac 24kw natural gas generator with a few limiters and we do the whole house. We went with this instead of Powerwalls as I am told our solar has to shut off in a power outage so not to send power back into the grid during repair...
