You cannot buy the rubber pieces I have tried multiple ways and got a note right from Tesla that they are not available as aftermarket parts and would need to buy an entire second rack (which is probably what the person did that is selling it without the rubber strips)
Cheers
In my particular case it would be highly beneficial as currently I live in a Condo and have a charging station in my parking spot that is on a different meter then my unit. So I have 2 hydro bills coming to me and this of course includes 2x delivery and regulatory charges which plainly sucks...

Recently I lost the plastic right rear cover on my Model 3 OEM roof rack while driving down the highway (I did look for it for over 2 hours walking up and down the side of the road). See pics below (right side without cover & left side with me holding the cover piece).
Has anyone had any...
The first time I plugged in and it wasn’t working, charged for about 25 mins and then unplugged and it started blowing hot air. This lasted for about 10 mins and then started cold air.
The second time I plugged in and it started blowing hot air right away, was plugged in again for about 20mins...
After the third time plugging into supercharger it worked fine afterwards (as stated had a big drive today from Virginia to Ontario). For now it seems to have sorted itself out, will keep you updated if something is different tomorrow.
Update when plugged into super charger can heat the car up without any issue and then once I start driving again it blows nothing but cold air again…seems to be definitely software issue and related to the latest update
Same issue, updated yesterday and noticed nothing but cold air coming out. I am driving from Virginia back to Ontario today so far temp outside is ok, but could get chilly before the drive is over. Tried a few things and nothing has fixed it so far.
Dump cold water on them until the ice melts. Then as suggested turn off folding mirrors in the winter.
**DO NOT USE HOT WATER** Rapid expansion will cause issues including cracking/spider glass.
I cannot seem to find that option. Can you let me know where you found this? Screen shot or maybe a picture might help. I have turned off general autofold, but it is still happening when I pull up to my parking spot.
Thanks in advanced
I am experiencing the same thing. I back my car into my parking space in my building and as I pass by the space they fold in and have to manually fold them back out to get in. It has happened ever day this week. Let me know if you find anything, I didn't think there was a setting for...
Hi all, I have had a roof rack on my 2018 3 for a while now and have always used under mount accessories, but last fall I had the unfortunate result of the under mount piece hitting the roof glass and cracking it during install. So recently bought t-bolts in the hopes of using the t slots, but...
You have to remove the underside of the dash (same piece you would remove to get access to the cabin filters) and it is located right near the filter access panel. Note this was done on a 2018 and not sure if things have changed in the 2021 models.
Yes, my passenger side one started like this and got worse over time, I couldn't quite figure what it was at first as it happened almost 2 years ago now. Eventually booked an appointment and had it replaced. My driver side one started like this in October 2020 and had it replaced right away...
