Any update on your issue? I've taken mine (01/2023 Austin MY LR) in to the Montreal SC twice now, and the issue is still happening. First time they couldn't reproduce so they did nothing. Second time they replaced something with the headlight(s) but also adjusted the hatch so it closed more...

It seems related to outdoor temperature. It was happening all summer, but not in the winter. Maybe something is expanding a bit in the dash area when it's heated up. This will never get fixed, probably.

Maybe usually not, but I think it might be in my case. This misalignment is noticeable worse than any other Model Y I've seen so far. I've already taken it in once, so if it was the service bulletin issue why didn't they fix it?

I made another appointment and this time got mobile service to schedule, but then they replied that this repair wouldn't be possible in the field so I'm scheduled with the service center again. Hopefully this means they realize it's not a matter of adjusting the bumpers / stoppers. Next...

From the photos, it doesn't seem that bad. If it's an aesthetic issue only, I think you have to report it within a few days and/or 100 miles or something. I suspect they won't consider this a warranty issue, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try.

Maybe it's worth a try given how far away Tesla is. If it's less than $200-250 I'd be ok with that.

I'll post a photo. Good to know that more adjustment is possible in addition to the rubber stoppers. I haven't tried a body shop because it's still early and obviously Tesla should fix this under warranty given the car is 8 months old.

Yes, I took plenty of photos, haha. Good advice about the TSB. The hatch is clearly misaligned, longitudinally, not vertically. One side extends past the bumper, the other doesn't reach it. I'm pretty sure there is no adjustment of the stoppers that can fix this, and that's why water keeps...

I have water leakage past the hatch seal, and finally did the 3-hour drive to a service center and Tesla couldn't reproduce it. But now I'm realizing what the real issue seems to be: the hatch is misaligned, sticking out too far on the left, and not far enough on the right. This can't be fixed...
