Don't Give Tesla a Black Eye by Stealing Electricity

They were obviously in no hurry and you know the saying when it comes to SC's, "no free for 3".

Yep, good work! But I can't believe how much time I have spent on this thread today. I'm feeling pretty foolish right now. It's just hard to submit to ignorance. Off to the gym. :)

Yes, it was an Altoona park. I contacted Erin in the Parks and Recreation Department. Nobody had requested authorization and the outlets are designated for other purposes. That's when she told me about the food trucks. I don't live there. But I have a Tesla and I don't like it when others do...

Small town. Less than 7K people. They actually answer their own phones. :)

I appreciate your suggestion, and yes, I have been caught in the same judgemental place where I was dead wrong. My post here though wasn't based on any assumption. As I stated, I called the city and was told that the car was not authorized to use the power. We're all far from perfect, some more...

As I stated, I called the city and was told that the car was not authorized to use the power. The city should lock the covers. But if they don't, it doesn't make it right to take what isn't yours.

I agree with you on all accounts. And yes, I felt many, not all, of the initial replies were unfair and left with extreme bias rather than subjective reason. I love my S, and I love what Tesla has accomplished and the reasons they continue to push forward. I'm not going to address my views on...

It's still theft! Do you take whatever you like from your employer? And it's not just unlawful, it's immoral and sinful. You're ignorant for not knowing this. You're a fool for proving it with your last post.

I'm going back to my Tesla community now. I'm sure you'll all miss me as much as I will miss you. How unfortunate if the individuals on this site represent what Tesla will become not that they are mass producing 3's. This country is divided enough. I hope ya'll here don't continue to act the way...

You're right, I'm a Tesla hater. I've hated my S ever since I bought it new in '15. Btw, I need to borrow your car from your locked garaged this weekend. I won't be stealing it, I just need it. Your logic is hilarious!

Ha, At least I'll be invited back because I didn't steal the silver.

Wrong, It reflects badly on electric cars, and Tesla is synonymous with electric cars. It did when I saw it and it will with others.

You're probably right! Sorry, violations of the law should not be reported. So I guess I'll come to your house and steal $20 a week from your piggy bank and you will smile and say, ah, it's not worth reporting. I think I'll just leave my piggy bank on the front curb to make it easier.

It's a Tesla Model 3. Tesla has manufactured about 75K of them over the past year. I'm surprised you haven't heard of them. Great cars!

It's not, as I stated, I called the city.
