    Sentry Mode

I totally get this. But I think it’s a bad idea for the car to masquerade as something it’s not. Maybe a third option is viable: allow all cars to do the Bach bit, and leave video recording to the cars equipped to do it properly. Or offer a device to lock the rear seats (as others have done vi...

    Sentry Mode

The workaround is easy: put a note on your pre-2017 Model S that says you don’t have Sentry Mode for various reasons. Would-be thieves will respect that your car isn’t capable of defending itself and instead look for another way to get their Bach fix.

    Enhanced Anti-theft add-on from Tesla

I admit that I bought this as soon as I saw it on the store. The price was right, and the solution is another improvement on the security posture of the car. I'm curious if we'll see an update to the mobile app once these devices start getting installed. I'm assuming that it'll be able to send...

    USA S/W 42.2 19e7e44 but no NoA

‘16 HW2 MS but just standard AP. Don’t have NoA release notes or options but I guess I didn’t expect to. What’s weird is I can’t see a way to upgrade to EAP. Not on my Tesla account page or from the car itself. How do I give away some of my money?

    Software Update 2018.42.x

Same here. Although I suspect this is where those of us with a HW2 vehicle who didn't upgrade to EAP are starting to get left out.

    Software Update 2018.26.3 be4b11e

I hope this is the version with bug fixes and other minor updates.

    FSD price increase disincentive

Well this leaves me even more confused. I've got a 2016 HW2 car but stuck with the non-EAP autopilot features. I don't have an option on my Tesla account page to upgrade, and never have. But as more time passes and I learn that none of the EAP features have been released, I'm increasingly glad...

    Where is the enhanced autopilot?

Yes. Yes. But no, I don't. Accept that it's a strange build due to timing. When the EAP features like on-ramp to off-ramp are released, I'll happily post about whether I'm able to use them without upgrading. I recently spoke with my local SC staff, and they told me that in my case, there's no...

    Where is the enhanced autopilot?

Nope, nope, and nope. But the difference is that when EAP is available, I won't get those features. I'm positive Tesla won't gift EAP to me, especially since I explicitly declined to pay for EAP. However, I'll be sure to follow-up if EAP ever does see the light of day.

    Where is the enhanced autopilot?

Exactly. The DS was reading the Monroney sticker and saying, this doesn't make sense! He finally shrugged, said "this is a rare car," and sent me on my way.

    Where is the enhanced autopilot?

Nope. I ordered it before EAP was announced, and paid the AP cost. I received an email after my order was finalized that said I could pay extra to upgrade to EAP, or keep the base AP package. The delivery specialist was surprised they even made the car like that.

    Where is the enhanced autopilot?

Interest-free loans for FSD / EAP development? I bought my 75D in late 16, just as the AP2 HW was announced. So I've got the AP2 HW, but didn't cough up the extra cash to get EAP. Until now, I've been convinced that I was missing out. But if EAP today is not functionally different from the...

Sound EQ settings changed. Worst sound?

Glad I found this thread. Just a few weeks back I noticed the bass just not being as present when listening at any level. I’ve got the base audio system and usually keep the volume around 7..8 or so. Just seems like it lost its punch. I’d wondered if the rear speakers had come loose it was so...

P100D loaners to all Model S/X in service?

I've had four loaners in the first year of ownership. One was an Infiniti SUV, one an Infiniti Q50, one 85, and one P85. I've got a 75D. SC is always apologetic about giving me a non-Tesla loaner, but it's not a big deal to me. I haven't kept a loaner overnight yet.

Front Passenger Door Unlatched While Driving

Visit to the SC was productive. The tech reviewed the car's logs when the door popped open, and said that the handle had presented itself, retracted, presented, retracted, presented, and then went into unknown status before the door popped open. He said I was the second person that week with...
