2023.12.5 is waiting to install. Will this block me from receiving FSD beta 2023.7.5?

Well, we have our answer. FSD 11.3.6 (2023.12.10) is installing right now. Looking forward to trying it out finally! I kind of miss it since I gave up my MX a couple of months ago. Don't believe the nay-sayers.

2023.12.5 is waiting to install. Will this block me from receiving FSD beta 2023.7.5?

Can't stand the anticipation! Also, I see that new testers ARE joining, at least according to TESLAFI: 108 subscribers yesterday, 42 the day before, 56 the day before that.

2023.12.5 is waiting to install. Will this block me from receiving FSD beta 2023.7.5?

Yes, the FSD Request button is greyed out. From the message next to it, it implies that the button becomes active only once you've got a version of the firmware that *is* (has?) FSD Beta built in. I suppose I have to cling to that thread of a hope or kiss yet another $200 good-bye as I wait for...

2023.12.5 is waiting to install. Will this block me from receiving FSD beta 2023.7.5?

I have a Model Y with firmware 2023.6.11 currently installed. I've ignored the past couple of updates (2023.12 & 2023.12.5) because I wanted to be able to get the FSD Beta when it finally advanced to the 2023 versions. When I saw that the 2023.7.5 (FSD 11.4.1) started releasing to more and...

TACC Follows WAY too closely - Even after getting FSD Beta

mctnin, Yes, it was a tough decision. I ended up making a list of things about the MX that I liked and that were not so great. I've pasted that below if that can help. Keep in mind that a lot of these are subjective... In addition to the below, I have to say the two things that affected me...

    FSD-beta 2023.6.15 rollout speculation

I had FSDb in a 2017 Model X and was enjoying the experience of the month-by-month improvements. Then, in March, I traded it in for a new Model Y. The Y shipped with 2023.2.100. I also didn't know at the time that my current Firmware version would prevent me from "updating" to the older...

TACC Follows WAY too closely - Even after getting FSD Beta

I just wanted to follow up on this thread. I recently (March) traded in my MX for a new MY and the following distance has been night and day. Where the Model X was following crazy close to the traffic ahead of me, the Model Y leaves MUCH safer follow distances. In fact, I now typically...

Missing "Apply Brakes When Regenerative Braking Is Limited" on 2017 Model X

I am now running version 2022.44.25.5 and am still not seeing this option available to me. The release notes from notateslaapp.com indicate that it should be available on all models of cars, and I *thought* I saw it in my car's own release notes at one time, but I just checked and don't see...

TACC Follows WAY too closely - Even after getting FSD Beta

I agree with the sense of jerkiness, although it has MUCH improved with the FSD Beta. IMHO the biggest weakness of FSD from a passenger-comfort POV is that it still seems entirely reactionary. When there is traffic stopped ahead, or a car ahead of the car in front of me is slowing to turn onto...

TACC Follows WAY too closely - Even after getting FSD Beta

LOL! Yes, that would certainly be right up Elon’s alley.

TACC Follows WAY too closely - Even after getting FSD Beta

For me, distance 7 is just under two seconds all the time once we hit steady state regardless of speed. On the highway when traffic speeds are varying, 7 seems to be a bit laggy in keeping up when the cars ahead of me accelerate to the extent that I can be pretty far behind, but then it...

TACC Follows WAY too closely - Even after getting FSD Beta

I'm a relatively conservative driver. I don't like to be closer than about 2 seconds behind the person in front of me and, after a defensive driving course, I'm just as happy 2 1/2 - 3 seconds behind. In my 2017 MX (MCU2, AP 3.0 or "Full Self Driving Computer" as reported by the car) I have...

Has anyone received a '17 Model X AP Camera Upgrade?

I received my notice from Tesla a couple of days ago and was able to schedule the camera update service for Nov 8 via mobile service. Fingers crossed that all the pieces come together properly.

Has anyone received a '17 Model X AP Camera Upgrade?

I’m in Georgia in the exact same situation as you except with a 75D. And nary a peep from Tesla regarding the camera upgrade.

    Model X: Average Wh/mile Tracker

2017 MX 75D with 58,000 miles on it. A healthy mix of short, medium, and long trips over the years. I'm showing 365 Wh/Mile in Tesla Fi overall and looking at my largest trip meter it shows that for the past 9,840 Miles I've averaged 351 Wh/Mile. I live in the Southern US so I get *some* cool...
