I’m having this exact same problem on 42.3 - happens at least once a day. Anyone else seeing the same problem, or is this usually due to a hardware issue?

Did you get your car back? Curious to see if the new drive unit made a difference, since it didn't with mine...

Roughly the same as before - around 20 and 35mph when accelerating.

I just got my car back today after a month in the PA service center. They claim they swapped out the front drive unit. The “beeping” is definitely less noticeable but is still there. So I’m starting to think maybe it’s just inherent to the design.

Why not just get the ones from RPM Tesla? I’ve had them for about a month, and every time ppl sit in my car they’re surprised it’s not OEM. The only downside is that it’s not a full wrap around the edges since the film is pretty thick.

The 2nd T close up looks like Plasti-Dip to me due to the texture. First one looks like a wrap due to the extra material on the corners. Just my guess...

I've had the pre-cut handle wraps from RPM Tesla installed for about a month now with no peeling issues. Granted, I'm fairly careful when opening the doors to avoid the tip, which is where the most fragile part is. The rest of the handle is wrapped pretty thoroughly so I don't have to worry...

No update yet, have been waiting for a loaner car to become available before taking it in. Will post back whenever I have updates.

My issue isn’t with the force required to pull down the trunk, which is fairly easy. Instead, I worry that I almost have to slam it shut to get it to latch properly. I assume this tweak doesn’t affect the latching mechanism, right?

I'm trying to debug if my rattle (from passenger side rear seat, almost sounds like it's coming from the seat belt tensioner) is due to this. Do you know if, prior to your fix, the seat would rattle even if someone was sitting in it and leaning against the back?

FWIW I noticed this high-pitched “beep” immediately in my AWD. It’s most noticeable around 18mph and 35mph. I took it to the Palo Alto SC, and on a test drive one of the techs was able to hear it also. He wasn’t sure if it was normal or not for the 3 since there’s so few of them so far. But...

I’m driving an S75 right now while my AWD 3 is in the SC. As others have stated there are pros and cons. There are obvious features that the S has that the 3 doesn’t (auto-closing hatch, air suspension, more regular door handles). The ride quality is also objectively quieter and smoother...

I don’t think CA plates can go over 7 characters total. With the half space you were at 7.5. Maybe that’s why they removed it?
