Certified Tesla Mechanics in CT or MA?

I got my tires at Sullivan Tire. They are equipped for Teslas, including alignment.

    CT increases EV Credit

Ironically, you still can't buy a Tesla (or Rivian or Lucid...) in Connecticut.

Model X w/AutoPilot Cracked Windshield Replacement

In the summer of 2019 I had a minor collision in my Model 3 and chose Today's Collision for the repair. They were one of the few Tesla-certified body shops in New England. They specialize in luxury brands and do top-notch work. They're expensive, but worth it. I highly recommend them.

    Eversource rates in MA

As far as I know, there is no off-peak rate available in MA. Basic electricity rates are controlled by state government.

MA - "Right to Repair" Question 1 is heating up - (Voting 'Yes')

I agree with Tesla and NHTSA. We already have right to repair in MA. There's a lot of money being spent on both sides, making contradictory claims, resulting in a confusing choice. I have decided to vote no on 1.

    Eversource - Demand Charges

I posted a reply earlier, but for some reason it's not showing up. I'm trying again as a reply to your latest post. I'm afraid that's life in MA. However, many towns in MA have their own municipal electric service. They either have their own power plant or buy power in bulk from a big power...

    Eversource - Demand Charges

I'm afraid that's life in MA. However, many towns in MA have their own municipal electric service. They either have their own power plant or buy power in bulk from a big power company and distribute power to residents as a non-profit. I used to live in a town with municipal power. I moved to a...

Revere Beach, MA to Lorton, VA

Based on my limited experience, traffic around DC is horrendous, worse than NYC. Since you have to be there by a specific time during the workday, I would allow a couple of hours just for that. We made a trip from MA to SC to view the 2017 solar eclipse, and a nominal 16 hour drive turned into a...

Why there is so much consternation about Tesla rapid pricing changes

I have personally felt consternation about the fluctuating price of Model 3 Enhanced Autopilot. I took delivery of my Model 3 in November 2018. I got long range, dual motor, and the required "premium upgrade." I did not order the EAP, as I judged it not worth $5000 extra, even knowing it would...

    Mass MOR-EV rebate

I applied late November, and got my check a couple of weeks ago.

Beware driving in New England with a Enterprise loaner on the Pike!

To this I would add: beware of EZ pass tolls in New Jersey. In December, on our first road trip in our Model 3, we got dinged for a $50.00 "administrative fee" when going through the Lincoln tunnel. Seems like a fine by another name. Ironically, I had a valid Mass EZ pass transponder in the...
