I noticed with my new Model 3 that the trunk is actually MUCH easier to close when compared to my previous Model 3 and also the many I've seen in showrooms....its a very noticeable difference....I can definitely close it with one hand using the inner handles/grips.... I recently got a Model 3...

Not a good “delivery day”.... Had pickup today for 5:15pm. They called me at 1pm and said if I would like home delivery. I said sure, as long as they can give an extra inspection before they brought it. Long story short as to why, I have already received a model 3 with so many paint problems...

So I just got confirmation that my car is ready to take delivery this week, VIN 91,xxx. Has anyone confirmed if this means I'm getting a car that has been sitting for a long time? Because it looks like we're in the hundred thousands now...or is this not true?

I just got this text as well about an hour ago. I responded but no response. Wtf...(this is the 4th time I’ve heard that a car is ready....with the first 3 being false....)

My mind kept going in the direction of coming up with a way to adjust too, but yes....it would definitely make it more complex! I use RAM mounts in my vehicles for my phone and they allow A LOT of freedom to move XYZ and rotate, so I may have gotten used to the freedom haha

So if we already ordered and waiting, nothing?

Well, looks like this was a false alarm....no car assigned to me....darn! Thought I got lucky, but just another Tesla Flub....back in the waiting queue....

I had him double check because I too was skeptic. But he did confirm it was an AWD.

So...I just got a call for delivery! But weird... I literally ordered the car two weeks ago....on September 6 for a RWD, updated to AWD on September 12, and call for delivery on September 17! Crazy right? This is a “re-order”, since I did get a RWD model 3 in June that Tesla is buying back...

Got my order in. Delivery says Nov-Jan. I’m wondering if this is normal and just that there is less sound deadening than a model S in the front? And also the motor being closer? If this does end up being a “widespread” conpaint, and it’s not an actual issue with the motor..... I’m sure there...

I can’t wait for this. I have a Toyota Tacoma with almost 200k miles. Hoping it will last until this comes out! I’m sure it will, but I’m more worried I’ll get another truck before then hahaha

Damn! I changed my order from RWD to AWD on Saturday, but still waiting for it to update online. Sales rep said it would take some days to update online...and now the price went up! I’m hoping they can respect the price it was a few days ago when he “technically” submitted the change....
