Another use case for the fob is if you ever valet your car. The amount of time spent trying to explain how the keycard works sometimes just isn’t worth it. Handing them a keyfob is just plain easier and quicker.

Mine showed 50 miles on the contract too, this is just to cover them if they need to move it around between transport and service. I had mine delivered in Florida with 3 miles on it fwiw.
